We bake and ship your bread the same day

TWICE A WEEK TO CALIFORNIA CUSTOMERS

Orders received by SUNDAY –10PM PACIFIC TIME- will be baked on MONDAY and shipped that same day for TUESDAY delivery (if Monday is a Holiday all is delayed one day).

Orders received by WEDNESDAY -10 PM PACIFIC TIME - will be baked on THURSDAY and shipped that same day for FRIDAY delivery (if Friday is a Holiday baking & shipping will be on Monday).

Depending on availability we may ship orders arriving after the deadline -up to Monday or Thursday 1 pm PT-. If you placed an order shortly after the deadline and don’t want us to ship it immediately that day, please let us know.

ONCE A WEEK TO ALL OTHER STATES

Orders received by SUNDAY –10PM PACIFIC TIME- will be baked on MONDAY and shipped that same day for 2-3 day delivery (if Monday is a Holiday all is delayed one day).

Again, depending on availability we may ship orders arriving after the deadline -up to Monday 1 pm PT-. If you placed an order shortly after the deadline and don’t want us to ship it immediately that day, please let us know.

WE TAKE ORDERS 4 ITEMS AT A TIME

To keep shipping costs down we ask you to order 4 items, or multiples of 4, at a time. Any combination of products –Gluten Free or Spelt, Rye, Barley-(does not have to be 4 of the same).

STANDARD SHIPPING IS FREE

The listed prices are the final prices that you pay, Standard Shipping is free. If you need a different service, you can select from the options at checkout.

Our Standard Shipping uses the following carriers:

OnTrac NEXT DAY Ground service for customers with a physical address in California.

FedEx Ground or Express to the rest of the contiguous continental states. It takes 2-3 days, so orders will be delivered on Wednesday or Thursday.

US Postal Service Priority Mail for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or PO Boxes (2-3 day delivery).

You’ll receive a confirmation email with the tracking link a few hours after the order is shipped. The status can always be checked from our web site also.

PRESERVING YOUR BREAD

All our breads are Authentic Sourdough and they keep very well without the need of adding preservatives -we DO NOT add preservatives or mold inhibitors of ANY kind.

After you receive your order, you may keep your loaves at room temperature for 4 to 5 days. Stored in the refrigerator, they’ll be fine for a week or more. You can freeze them for up to 6 weeks (our preference, although we have seen customers finding a loaf in the freezer after 6 months and eating it without any problems).

Please always keep them in the original bag or in a sealed bag or container to better preserve its freshness.
